Céad Míle Fáilte go hÉireann! A thousand welcomes to Ireland! What better way to discover the breathtaking scenery of Ireland than flying to / from the Emerald Isle?

Ireland's location at Western Europe and on the Atlantic contribute to the country's unpredictable weather, which we all love. Flying in Ireland can be a pleasure; soaring above the Gaeltacht regions(Irish-only speaking areas) of Conamara on a warm summer's day - or a challenge; trying to land an aircraft in heavy fog with a strong crosswind. So whether its a transatlantic hop from the USA, a short hop from Europe, or some VFR flying around Dublin, theres something for everyone! Flying in Ireland will always prove to be an enjoyable experience.

Our Air Traffic Controllers at VATeir strive to maintain the friendly atmosphere which is associated with Irish people. A huge sense of co-operation and teamwork is felt throughout the VACC, and our controllers are adamant to show their friendliness when you fly in.

This site contains a wealth of information for you to fly in Ireland. Be sure to check out the airports page for details / procedures about all our airports. If you are flying a NAT Track, be sure to check out VATUK's NAT Track webpage (here). Todays NAT tracks can be found here.

So don't delay, don't miss an opportunity to fly amongst the friendliest controllers of the VATSIM network and fly in Ireland today!

Go raibh maith agat.

Pilots Welcome
