On Sunday 27th November between 18:00z and 21:00z, the Northern RTS and VATeir are delighted to announce the Dublin and Leeds Bradford Overload to mark the 80th Birthday of Leeds airport and the opening of terminal 2 at Dublin!

Leeds Bradford Airport which is located in Yeadon, West Yorkshire, originally opened on the 17th of October 1931 and was given the name Leeds and Bradford Municipal Aerodrome. Being the highest airport in England we invite pilots to come fly the tricky approach as the airport sits on top of a very windy hill leading to a very short runway "So ya betta get them brakes on".
In late 2008 Dublin Airports terminal 2 was finally unveiled to the public. It is by far one of the nicest terminals in all of Europe. Dublin also boasts one of the most scenic approaches in the world with the Beautiful Dublin Bay as its backdrop. You can have an amazing view of this bay on the approach into the Airport whilst passing over the lovely Howth Head or Killiney hill.
Both Leeds Bradford and Dublin will be fully staffed with enroute control to provide a busy and exciting short trip across the water!
