VATeir, in association with VATSIM-UK, is excited to announce the first ever All-Ireland Real Ops event. 12 airports across the island of Ireland will be online for 8 hours from 1400Z to 2200Z on Sunday 19th September, catering for over 400 flights in what is expected to be one of the busiest events of the year. BOOK A FLIGHT To book a flight for the event, simply visit the official All-Ireland Real Ops website, register an account, and then book a flight from any of Ireland's 12 airports. SCENERY Scenery for Dublin, Cork, and Shannon is available from www.eiresim.com Scenery for Belfast-Aldergrove is available from www.uk2000scenery.com Scenery for Waterford, Sligo, and Galway is available from www.avsim.com AFCADs for all other airports are available from www.vateir.com/pilotdownloads.php CHARTS Charts for Belfast and Derry airports are available HERE Charts for all other airports are available HERE IMPORTANT!!! Thought I'd mention this here for all you Airbus haters
- Aer Lingus won't be renewing the lease on 3 of their A321s when it runs out in a few months, and will be replacing them with new A320s when they're delivered next year. Theres no word on whether they'll be keeping the 3 A321s they own though.Theres also been rumours they're to buy up to 7 new Embraer 195s, and only today the Indo is reporting Aer Lingus have entered 'preliminary contact' with Embraer: http://www.independent.ie/business/irish/aer-lingus-starts-pricing-smaller-craft-for-route-rejig-2327331.html |
