Welcome to the Dublin ATCC. This ATCC provides training for Dublin and Weston airports. Training for Dublin Control is also provided here. Training for Baldonnel AB is provided by the Military Director.

All new controllers to VATeir will start controlling in a regional airport, thus any new controller will start in the Shannon ATCC. When you complete your mentoring on a regional airport and when you've gained sufficient experience, you will then be reccommended to transfer to one of the 3 main airports of Ireland and it will be at this point that you will have the opportunity to join the Dublin ATCC and train at Dublin Airport(EIDW). If you would like to enquire about changing from the Shannon ATCC to the Dublin ATCC, please contact the VATeir Training Director(Ayman Hafez). |

| General | VFR Pilots intending to fly within the Dublin CTR(control zone) must have prior clearence from Dublin Tower to do so. All arrival and departure routes are strictly as instructed by Dublin Tower. Controllers have the right to refuse entry to an aircraft into the Dublin CTR if they have not filed a flightplan. VFR Pilots wishing to fly outside the Dublin CTR must remain clear of controlled airspace at all times and must avoid danger and prohibited airspace at all times, and restricted airspace when required. |
