VATeir provides training for anyone wanting to become a virtual air traffic controller in Ireland, as well as the necessary tools for pilots seeking to fly in Irish airspace. VATeir's vision is to become the most active vACC in Europe. VATeir aims to provide all controllers with the training and tools necessary to progress in the vACC and provide the best service possible for pilots flying in Ireland.
VATeir is part of the VATSIM Europe Division (VATEUD), which together with the VATSIM-UK and VATSIM Russia divisions forms the VATSIM Europe Region (VATEUR).
